A Note from Our Principal,
Spring has finally arrived, and we want to ensure all our students can take full advantage of our outdoor play spaces. One of the best ways to ensure this is for each child’s cubby to be cleaned out and ready for the season. Please ensure that your child’s cubby has a full set of well-fitting, weather-appropriate labeled clothes. Additionally, now is a great time to start collecting sunscreen to prepare for the first hot and sunny day of the year. Please label all containers of sunscreen that you send to school with your child. Our teachers are planning outdoor games, lessons, and picnics to celebrate spring. We can’t wait to share these activities with your child!
Our Annual Spring Egg Hunt was a big success. The children had an amazing time. Mr. Bunny also came to visit, and he was a sight to see. The younger children were a little out of sorts, but the older children were excited to see him. Thank you for all the candy and eggs; it was very much appreciated; every child went home with eggs and candy.
Thank you for participating in the parent survey. Your thoughts, compliments, and suggestions were duly noticed. We will continue to make Xplor’s environment a safe and fun early learning experience for your children and diligently try to improve our program throughout the year to make you proud.
Week of the Young Child, April 6-12, recognizes young students, their teachers, and their families for all their hard work. This annual event, sponsored by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), allows us to showcase the importance of early childhood education, our Links to Learning curriculum, and everyone who makes it possible. Many fun activities are planned for Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday, and Family Friday. More information will be sent via Links 2 Home.
